Room & Board

This was my first time in a Room and Board store, I had previously only seen the catalogs. I loved every piece in the store as it is a nice mix of modern and contemporary pieces. It was spacious and three floors but includes an escalator. I love how they decorate small and large spaces and show what you can do with their furniture in small spaces to still create warm and inviting environments. I think that I even found a gift for a hard to buy for friend. The employees are welcoming but allow you to browse and are not pushy. They showcase living, dining, bedroom, kids and outdoor furniture including some cool setups on their balconies.

Trying to decide between RH & Room & Board? Read this Review. Room & Board is in a league of their own. Let me explain. My wife and I over the past 2 years have been outfitting our new home. In our previous home we had bought a couple rooms of furniture and had a great experience. However... We wanted a specific look for our master... That RH look... We make a mistake going with RH... When you visit a RAB showroom you are always welcomed. There is plenty of help. While walking around each time we have had no issues. The showroom staff is friendly and will even help you bring items together to make your custom room. So how do they differ from RH. 1. Their furniture is made in the USA. RH is made in China mostly. 2. Their shipments come in one delivery for $85. You can UPS some small items but the bulk comes from their delivery. RH does both as well but you can get a expensive lamp left on your door for you to assemble. 3. Their delivery guys are amazing. Always clean, new trucks with staff that comes in and introduces themselves and does a home tour to know where your new items go. Nice polo's with their name on them. RH - Sub Contracted and they charge $199. Dinged walls. Old trucks and you are left to "assemble" and unpack your new room.. and all the trash. 4. RAB delivers and sets up your new items. Lamps un-packed. Rugs laid out to your like. Furniture placed where you would like. Felt pads put under each foot to protect your things. 5. Their showroom is not a brunch spot too. Its a well maintained space with super friendly staff that are never too busy to help you. This company cares. Don't waste your money on the RH look when you can buy quality, American made furniture that is quite stylish. We so regret departing our mostly RAB home for one room of RH furniture. Don't make our same mistake. Keep up the amazing job of being a complete A to Z company Room & Board. I am sorry it took a bad experience to remind me why yours was so good.

I ordered the Aster crib. It was exceptionally well made and looked great in my grandson's bedroom. Recently, the screws somehow got lost when my daughter-in-law took the railing off to put in the toddler railing so I called the company, and they rushed more screws to them. Incredible service would be an understatement. So glad I ordered from this company.

Ordered from here and had an item customize which naturally would take a while .... months later we called for an update then all of a sudden we get a phone call saying the purchase was even more so delayed. Whether this is on their folks they order from but it reflects on the store. Lack of communication unless you're persistent to get answers. Ended up canceling the order after 4 months of waiting.
